HP recommends using only HP’s high quality fiber channel transceivers (SFPs) in HP SAN environments. HP’s transceivers are qualified to plug and play across the entire HP SAN storage product family, including MSA, EVA, and XP storage platforms and with all HP fiber channel switches, directors, routers, and blade server switches.
